Beer for burgers

When we asked Hollow Pond Brewing to make us a lager, the brief was one line: it has to cut through a double with cheese. Eleven test batches later, the Clatter Lager got a crisp bready middle and a floral, almost peppery finish that wipes the palate. Next came the pale, the IPA and the stout, each tested against a different burger.
